New Year – New Opportunities

As we begin a new year, we would like to update our supporters on how your donations have been used to promote and preserve our Confederate heritage. None of this could’ve been possible without your generosity. We are thankful to each of you!

The North Carolina Division SCV, through member donations and the NC SCV Memorials Fund, contributed significantly to creating the “North Carolina in the Shenandoah” monument, which was dedicated at Lee-Jackson Park on November 16, 2024 in Rockbridge County, Virginia.

The NC SCV Memorials Fund also donated the funds for 10 Confederate brigade markers for the Wyse Fork Battlefield in Jones and Lenoir Counties of North Carolina.
The list of markers include Clingman’s Brigade, Kirkland’s Brigade, Colquitt’s Brigade, North Carolina Junior Reserves Brigade, 13th Battalion North Carolina Light Artillery, and Hagood’s Brigade.

It is our hope that each of you will be richly blessed throughout the coming year. Please, make giving to the NC SCV Memorials Fund part of your plans for 2025! There is still so much more to be accomplished in our work of preserving our legacy and history!

Note: the PayPal option/donate button is not working right now. Anyone wishing to donate can write checks out to N.C. Division SCV and mail to:

  1. Beautiful post. Thank you for your contribution. We will make Wyse Fork a showplace for people to enjoy for many years to come. We have a great team and we will use the finds wisely to promote our history and heritage.
